01 / MORNING
Meet the daylight.
Make outdoor daylight part of your morning when possible. A regular wake-up time gives your routine a repeatable starting point.
ABOUT DAYARC
DAYARC is a circadian wellbeing brand helping people build everyday routines around their body’s natural rhythm.
This is our story
THE TEAM BEHIND DAYARC
Scott
Founder, DAYARC
For Scott, paying attention to his circadian rhythm made a profound difference to how he felt.
He began exploring how working with his body’s natural daily timing could support his health and wellbeing. He experienced a substantial improvement in his overall sense of wellbeing, and wanted to make the ideas behind that experience easier for others to understand and put into practice.
That became DAYARC: a brand built around the full arc of a day, from the light that marks its beginning to the quieter conditions that prepare us for rest.
Our purpose reaches beyond any one product. We’re here to help make circadian wellbeing a practical part of everyday life, through considered products and clear, useful education.
Scott’s experience is personal. It is the beginning of our story, not a promise of the same results for everyone.
THE IDEA AT THE HEART OF DAYARC
WHAT THE SCIENCE SAYS
There is a biological reason that the way we spend our days can shape the way we feel at night.
Circadian rhythms are daily patterns in processes such as sleep, hormone release, appetite and body temperature. Light and darkness are major signals that help align those rhythms with the outside world.1
Light-sensitive cells in the retina send information to the brain’s master clock, called the suprachiasmatic nucleus. This helps coordinate the timing of wakefulness and the evening rise in melatonin, a hormone involved in signalling biological night.2
Light’s effects depend on when you receive it, its intensity, duration and spectrum. Expert guidance supports brighter daytime environments, lower light in the hours before bed and a dark sleeping environment for healthy adults.3
This research supports the principles behind our approach. It is not evidence from clinical trials of DAYARC products.
ONE DAY. DIFFERENT CUES.
01 / MORNING
Make outdoor daylight part of your morning when possible. A regular wake-up time gives your routine a repeatable starting point.
02 / DAYTIME
Spend time outdoors and keep active during the day. Light, movement and regular daily habits all help distinguish daytime from rest.
03 / EVENING
Reduce bright light as bedtime approaches. The brightness and timing of your whole environment matter, not just the colour of a screen.
04 / NIGHT
A dark, quiet, comfortably cool bedroom and a consistent sleep schedule support the conditions for a good night’s sleep.
General guidance for a typical daytime schedule, not a personalised timing plan. Sources 3–4. Shift work and sleep conditions may need individual advice.
A PURPOSE BIGGER THAN ONE PRODUCT
We bring products, understanding and everyday routines together around circadian wellbeing.
Our first collection is Rise and Mini, two mains-powered bright-light lamps for different spaces. Clear comparisons help you choose the size, controls and positioning that fit your day.
Explore our lights ↗We explain circadian rhythm and light in plain English, with links to the research. Our journal connects the principles to questions you might have at home.
Read the journal ↗Our focus is the relationship between daytime activity and night-time rest. We help you think about the pattern of your day, alongside any product you choose.
Understand the approach ↓OUR PRINCIPLES
A few things we want you to be able to count on.
Our starting point is your daily rhythm. Morning, daytime, evening and night each have a place in how we think about wellbeing.
We explain a 10,000-lux rating alongside its measuring distance. Positioning and practical use belong beside the headline number.
Our educational content links to its sources. We distinguish general research on light and circadian rhythm from evidence about an individual product.
Outdoor daylight and a consistent sleep schedule are part of the conversation. A product should fit into a routine you can maintain.
Scott’s experience with his own circadian routine shaped DAYARC’s purpose. That perspective keeps our focus on everyday usefulness and clear information.

A LITTLE MORE CLARITY
DAYARC is a circadian wellbeing brand founded by Scott. We bring together products and education to help people build everyday routines around their natural daily rhythm.
Our current collection starts with Rise and Mini bright-light lamps. The broader purpose of DAYARC is circadian wellbeing across the whole day, including the habits and environment that support daytime activity and night-time rest.
It is the roughly 24-hour timing pattern behind many body processes, including sleep and wakefulness. Light and darkness help keep that timing aligned with day and night.
No. Daytime light helps signal that it is day; reducing bright light in the evening is a different goal. Timing, brightness, duration and spectrum all matter.
A bright-light lamp can be part of an indoor routine, but it does not replace everything you get from spending time outdoors. We encourage everyday daylight exposure where practical, alongside following your lamp’s instructions.
No. Our content is general education, and results vary. If you have an eye condition, bipolar disorder, take photosensitising medication or are treating a sleep or mood condition, ask a qualified clinician about suitability and timing before using bright-light therapy.
