01A generous light surface
The broad panel gives Rise its distinctive form. Set it beside your usual morning spot and angle the panel towards your seated position. The height adjustment helps you place the light where you need it.
02Brightness you can choose
Select from four brightness levels using the side controls. The highest setting delivers the manufacturer-rated 10,000 lux at 30–36 cm. Lower settings reduce the light output; they do not deliver the same exposure simply because the session lasts the same time.
03A timer that keeps things simple
Choose a 15, 30, 45 or 60-minute timer. The lamp turns off when that interval ends. The timer controls duration; the brightness control adjusts output. Choose your session using the supplied guide.

BRIGHTNESS, EXPLAINED
The number is only
half the story.
Lux describes how much light reaches a surface. For a bright-light lamp, its distance from you is part of the specification.
Rise is rated at 10,000 lux at 30–36 cm on its highest setting. Move farther away and less light reaches you. A lamp across the room won’t provide the same exposure as one positioned at its rated distance.
Colour temperature is a separate detail: Rise uses 4,000 K white LEDs. It describes the appearance of the light, rather than the amount reaching you.

Can I change the brightness?
Yes. Rise has four brightness settings. Its highest setting is rated at 10,000 lux at 30–36 cm; lower settings provide less light.
Does Rise have a timer?
Yes. Choose 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. The lamp switches off when the timer ends. Follow the supplied instructions when choosing your session length.
What does 10,000 lux mean?
Lux measures the amount of light reaching a surface. The distance matters: this rating applies at the stated distance, and moving farther away reduces the light reaching you.
Is this a sunrise alarm clock?
No. Rise is a bright-light lamp for use while you are awake. It does not gradually light up at a programmed wake-up time, and it has no alarm sound.
Can I use it while I read or work?
Yes. Choose an activity that lets you stay in the recommended position with your eyes open. You do not need to stare at the panel. Keep the diffuser unobstructed and follow the positioning guidance supplied with the lamp.
Can I leave it across the room?
The rated brightness applies at 30–36 cm. Moving the lamp farther away reduces the light reaching you. It should not be treated as a whole-room source of 10,000-lux exposure.
How long should a session last?
Follow the directions supplied with your lamp. Distance, brightness and timing all matter, and individual needs vary. A timer setting is not a recommendation for a particular treatment duration.
Is it ready to order in the UK?
Rise and Mini are currently out of stock. We are not accepting new orders at the moment. You have 30 days from delivery to return a lamp if it does not suit you.
